Why waste gasifier are not manufactured/researche in Brazil?

Climaco Cezar de Souza

WHY only in Brazil still are not manufactured/researched/encouraged the rapid syngasifiers machines for electrical energy or for industrial steam from MSW, biomasses, leftovers etc. all very efficient, cheap, even own, hybridizable for giant cleaner?

?“INCREDIBLE” - Although common for many years in China, India, USA and Europe (involving mini, small and large companies as well as cities), I ask you why revolutionary and very fast and giant cleaner syngasifiers (comes from cheap gross waste, old tires, plastics, residues, debris and biomass etc.) are not manufactured, researched or encouraged in BRAZIL? Only they, really, can add - locally and regionally - giant, fast and much cheaper environmental cleanups, with good and cheap production of thermal steam energy and/or electrical generation - their own or to be sold - and even production of plasma and even H2 concentrable and truly sustainable.

Therefore, I even find it INEXPLICABLE to try to UNDERSTAND WHY GOVERNMENTS, UNIVERSITIES AND COMPANIES OF ANY SIZE/SECTOR IN BRAZIL DON'T BELIEVE IN THE GIANT AND CHEAP ELECTRIC GENERATIONS WITH VERY RAPID SYNGASIFIERS OF A LOT OF DAILY URBAN WASTE?? (it even seems that, sometimes, wrongly prioritizing the expensive, and possibly corruptible, dirty, unsafe, lying landfills that to produce methane and that only to produce very expensive costs and expenses for taxpayers and no electricity and/or other local revenues, etc.). Also, only in Brazil all type companies (manufacturers or much power/steam plaintiffs) more shrewd investors more garbage cleaners are VERY CONTRARY ONE OF THE BIGGEST COMPANIES ALL WITH THEIR MEDIUM TO LARGE SYNGASIFIERS  MANUFACTURERS/INSTALLERS IN THE WORLD AND FOR DECADES (as the Westinghouse-AlterNG; Mitsubishi; Itochu/Hitachi; Lurgi; Siemens; Ankur; Outotec; Eqtec; Bivkin; Andritz; Fraunhofer; Foster Weller; Heiki, Fengyu and many others) AND in small to giants CITIES IN JAPAN, EUROPE, CHINA, INDIA, USA, EMIRATES, etc.. Most process garbage and residues well collected by neighborhoods, pre-selected and, often, well mixed even to enrich their PCI = Lower Calorific Value - for the minimum required and this even with old tires, plastics, cardboard, fabric and leather scraps, branches and prunings from gardens and trees, etc., all very dry and small (waste, if possible, raw, although some can also process slurries and even smelly pastes from such landfills and from pre-collected waste/selective collection/recyclables). In Brazil, average gross MSW, even comes from poor people places, already has a good PCI level (or enrichable).

?The worst thing is that in Brazil this occurs in a situation of recognized high cleaner/power demand and high total potential to invest and make a lot of profit, including solving our serious environmental cleaning problems, with truly sustainable ways, plus correct and reliable disposal of such raw waste, leftovers, waste, old tires, plastics, wood residues, leather and clother residues, etc. more of the necessary and urgent reductions in the already high agro-industrial electrical costs (ditto with steam) plus same costs for residential, condominium and for millions of buildings etc.., all through local/regional syngas electrical generations (real, safe and not at all questionable in the world), if possible own, to be obtained from such machines, and, even better, if they are local hybrids with other electrical sources that are also abundant and close to 40 km from such generating/catching bases (more power generations also comes from mini to small hydroelectric plants in very close waterfalls or on the line of water (by flows/currents or by vortex); solar and wind capture; biogas or biomethane from animal feces, etc.).

In Brazil, as required by a 2010 Law, all of our almost 5,700 municipalities are obliged to adopt measures more to implement projects, strictly technical, to actually solve such socio-environmental giant problems and crimes described, but, until now, not even 1,500 municipalities they have already resolved these problems in form of legal demands that are neither questionable nor forgivable. The richer cities majority use very expensive and problematic landfills, but these are only paid for by taxpayers, as they produce nothing in revenue. Also, many large and medium-sized cities are already adopting a perhaps even worse solution of incinerating such MSW and other waste for electrical generation, which will certainly produce and release much more Co2 and methane into the atmosphere (contrary to all our efforts and international treaties, including in the COP/UN climate agreements). Is worse than our governments and politicians silently watch this - almost criminal - way of trying to circumvent the 2010 law, but they still don't care or do nothing to stop them. Also, our approximately 350 thousand industries (of which 210 thousand are agro-industries or food factories, etc.) are also obliged by another law from 1998 to adopt similar socio-environmental measures, as long as they actually solve such problems. Few industries already adopt such real solutions, even though they receive many expensive socio-environmental fines, almost monthly. Unfortunately, the majority still don't care about actually reducing their costs with electricity/steam/environmental fines/cleaning/real sustainability, etc., as they still prefer/try to transmit their socio-environmental/energies costs through repeated increases in the final consumer prices of their goods, which greatly reduces their potential to compete in a market that is increasingly purchasing and more competitive.

About (proving our old mistakes, lack of interest and/or unpreparedness to make a lot of profit in Brazil), also see below diagnoses, data and complete and recent worldwide supporting contacts, entirely reliable, and in English, at:

In the USA, there are manufacturers of homemade and mini to small syngasifiers, but almost all of them do not process raw waste or biomass directly, but only, RDF (“Refuse Derivative Fuel), equal to our brazilian CDR = Fuels Derived from Residues, that is, only if previously dehydrated to up to 14% humidity and reduced in size to up to 3.0 cm . See an example from the GEK at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cz1S7IHLCVk and also, the small and even homemade one, from the THRIVE SYSTEMS at https://www.youtube.com/user/VulcanGasifier and, the best of them from the POWERMAX, generating from 100 KWH to 20.0 MWH AT https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEGDpEAmyPI&t=23s .

In China, we have several manufacturers of mini to small syngasifiers with the same requirements above, but to generate from 10 KWH to 3.0 MWH in very modern syngas motorgenerators. See those from KXNY Qingdao Kexin at https://en.kexinqd.com / plus its importable offers via Alibaba (prices without taxes and shipping) at https://qd-kexin.en.alibaba.com/ .

Personally, I already have 05 published patent applications for small syngasification machines in Brazil that are much cheaper and faster (as in the USA, China and India), but still for home uses, farms, condominiums and small agro-industries too. Among them, I have a revolutionary request to continuously produce circulating thermal fluid, continuously and internally in such a syngasifier (with only 60% of the thermal leftovers of up to 1,500º C at its top), and such fluids (of only mineral origin = “molten salt” and already used in electrical transformers and similar) take up to 5 minutes to heat up internally from 35º C to 650º C (they can also be combined with heliothermic solar capture systems also circulating in PTC collectors on ceilings/walls (I also have 4 mini PTC solar requests of patents about) in the same place, but now at up to 400º C) and then they take 4 to 6 hours producing industrial steam and/or electricity externally until they cool down to 35º C and, only then, they have to re-enter the same syngasifier/ solar trough to reheat; and all this from raw waste or the other items above.

WHETHER OR NOT IT WILL BE A BIG RAPID ENVIRONMENTAL AND ENERGY BRAZIL CHANGES? CHEAP; REVOLUTIONARY, DIFFERENT; HIGHLY PROFITABLE FOR MANUFACTURERS MORE FOR INVESTORS MORE FOR OWNERS OR FOR SIMPLE MUNICIPAL OPERATORS; MORE FOR BIG EMPLOYERS AND/OR FOR HUGE AGRO-INDUSTRIAL/COMMERCIAL COST REDUCERS, ESPECIALLY IF IT IS HYBRID (IN THE SAME LOCATION OR MICRO REGION) AND TOTALLY NECESSARY/URGENT IN BRAZIL TODAY AND, MAINLY, IN THE FUTURE?

SO, WHAT DOES THESE CLEANER AND LUCRATIVE SYNGASIFIERS NOT TAKE OFF AND ONLY HERE, INCLUDING IN POSSIBLE INITIAL PARTNERSHIPS, WIN-WIN TYPE, WITH EXTERNAL MANUFACTURERS ALREADY HIGHLY EXPERIENCED AND TO VISIT/KNOW/ANALYZE/SELECT/ASSOCIATE/LICENSE BEFORE?
